More than 142 million women world wide have an unmet need for family planning methods (source: UN). Our goal is to provide fitting contraceptive solutions, primarily for women in low-income countries who feel their family is complete.

We recognise that the solution is threefold: firstly, we need to find out why the current scope of contraceptive options does not suffice; secondly, women should be well-informed on the options available to them; and thirdly, new methods should be developed to ensure that a fitting option exists for every woman. Rather than traditional questionnaires, we want to use adaptive and product-centered research methodologies to learn how to remove barriers to contraceptive uptake in low-income countries. This allows us to design and develop acceptable (surgical) solutions, that truly address user needs.
